The Aprilia Tuono 1000 is a motorcycle produced by the Italian maker Aprilia from 2002 – 2008. The Tuono is mainly based upon the Aprilia RSV Mille which shares the engine, gearbox, frame, and the suspension. The Tuono 1000 R has a technical difference with the RSV1000R in the rear shock which provides control of both inbound and outbound damping. The Tuono 1000R has a top speed up to 155 mph. It employs a steering damper as a standard.
