This circuit is created for educational intent with main purpose to show that output state can be electronically toggled, even though only utilise a push button switch. This simple circuit can be used to drive a monostable relay using a single button switch. When the IC output (pin 3) is pressed, it assumed the high level but Q1 transistor switched off. When the button released, the relay is energized (Now the exchange switch is closed on 5 and 9). When the button is pressed once more, IC output assumes the low level but the Q3 transistor switches on. When the button released, the circuit goes back to the start condition.
