The following is another variation of an adjustable regulated power supply circuit. It is slightly different with the one using LM317 regulator, since this one can provide wider output from 0V to 35V DC. Two power diodes are placed as the following figure to provide that output value :

The fixed regulator (LM 7805) is used for this simple adjustable regulated power supply. A regulated power supply can be created from an ordinary fixed regulator that can easily found elsewhere. Output from 5V DC t0 30V DC can be provided by jacking up its output voltage.
