Circuit Schematic Diagram of Simple DC to AC Inverter
Simple Electronic Applications June 10th, 2010This circuit diagram is a DC to AC inverter is suitable when you need a light AC power supply to be carried everywhere, for example if you go camping, fishing, or other outdoor activities. This inverter is lighter than carrying diesel or gasoline generator sets.
The DC to AC inverter works by using control circuit. This control circuit generates electric pulse at a high power. This high pulse then connected to step up transformer. A microcontroller circuit can also be utilized as a control circuit as shown at the figure at the bottom of the paragraph. The pulse can be formed in modified sine wave using this microcontroller, by using pulse width modulation (PWM) technique.
Atmel’s AT89C2051 generates pulse to drive the MOSFET IRFZ 44 which switch on and switch off DC current in order to low side voltage transformer. At the other side that can turn the lamp, the high voltage is generated. More MOSFET can be added in parallel to get a higher power.

Why in hell use a programable micro controller for this circut. You would need a programmer and the code to put into this device to make this work. This is another example of stupid people trying to impress people with bull shit.

Gosh, lay off the guy mcu’s are a dirt fast way to get PWM if you dont have any parts to make a clean wave. plus can go higher Hz than most gen’s if you dont need 50-60.
