Free Phase Control Circuit Diagram

A phase control schematic can be applied to operate the power delivered to an alternating current load. The phase control circuit operate the AC wave form, abbreviating the cycle to give full cycle, half cycle, zero cycle, or somewhere in between. This circuit is like a dimmer circuit, but the switching is contemporized with the zero crossing of the waveform.

The advantage of swithing the power in zero crossing consideration is that the triacs doesn’t bear power waste, thus increasing the overall efficiency. This phase control circuit is appropriate for swept AC motor, heater filament, or incandescent lamps. Here is the schematic diagram :

The integrated electric circuit, U208B, is configured as a phase control circuit in bipolar engineering with inner supply-voltage supervising. As the potential is built up, uncontrolled output pulses are annulled by internal monitoring. Moreover, it has internal-current and voltage synchronisation. It is suggested as a low-priced open-loop control
