Here is the schematic circuit diagram of the VW Cabriolet 1997 cruise control system description and illustration. The cruise control system controls the speed of the vehicle by adjusting the throttle position. It also actuates the throttle valve by a cable connected to an actuator. The module of cruise control is placed below left rear seat and connected to the following parts : cruise control switch, cruise control fuse, ground, cruise control modules, clutch pedal position switch, brake pedal position switch, fuse/relay panel, brake light switch, cruise control vacuum pump, and the instrument cluster.
